apprentice ceremony ,

Leader: All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a Clan meeting. This is a proud day for GladeClan. By naming apprentices we show that GladeClan will survive and remain strong. [kit name], from now until you recieve your warrior name you will be known as [new apprentice name]. [apprentice's new mentor], you will be [apprentice name]'s mentor. I know that you will pass on your [virtue] to [apprentice name] and teach [him/her] the skills that will make [him/her] an honorable warrior of GladeClan.

Warrior and apprentice touch noses. The Clan chants the new apprentice's name.

warrior ceremony ,

Leader: All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a Clan meeting. I, [leader name], call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. [he/she] has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend [him/her] to you as a warrior in turn. [apprentice name], do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at hte cost of your own life?

Apprentice: I do.

Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. [apprentice name], from this moment on you will be known as [warrior name]. StarClan honors your [virtue 1] and [virtue 2]. We welcome you as a full warrior of GladeClan.

Leader rests muzzle on the new warrior's head. The new warrior licks the leader's shoulder with respect. The Clan chants the new warrior's name.

elder ceremony ,

Leader: All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a Clan meeting. [warrior name], is it your wish to give up the ways of the warrior and join the elders?

Warrior: It is.

Leader: Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given it. I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest.

New elder joins the rest of the elders.

name changing ceremony ,

Leader: All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a Clan meeting. Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what [she/he] is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of my warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on [he/she] will be known as [new name] because [reason for name change].

The Clan chants the cat's new name.
